As we aim to make research more impactful, recognising and sharing power within our research practices is key to achieving authentic, people-centred insights.
Join us for an engaging 45-minute session where Elaine Tan (Jora), and Diletta Legowo (Small and Scale) will explore how people-centred research can transform your understanding of user contexts, enhance inclusivity, and empower research to drive meaningful change across your organisation.
Together, they’ll discuss practical approaches to embedding a people-centred perspective in your research practices, fostering cultural awareness, and ensuring that research serves as a true catalyst for strategic decision-making.
With over a decade in SaaS, tech, and not-for-profit, Jeremiah Kato is on a mission to make brands truly understood. He helps businesses find their tribe, create impact, and thrive with clarity in a world that too often chases mass appeal over genuine connection. Connect with Jeremiah on LinkedIn.
Diletta (she/her) spends a lot of time thinking about how, collectively, we might join our efforts so that more of us feel at home — in our lives, communities, and places. This questioning underpins all her work. She leads Small and Scale, a design company taking on small bites of the big picture to seed innovations that scale by facilitating kind and culturally competent collaborative processes for teams. She says, "for that homey feeling, through the work we share and outcomes we enjoy together".
Also a designer of movement for mind/body connection, she teaches weekly yoga classes in Melbourne’s inner north, specialising in mobility and meditation for modern lives. She maintains a strong connection to her culture as Creative Director of Nongkrong Festival — celebrating evolving Indonesian identities and embracing both diaspora roots and routes.
