Askable has raised $22 million in Series A funding, led by Airtree Ventures, to expand our platform-driven research delivery solution, allowing enterprises to unlock deep insights and research capacity on-demand.

This funding enables us to scale our impact globally, enhance our leading technology, strengthen our community of researchers, and hire the best talent globally to make it happen.

To our clients, community, and incredible team—thank you for being the heart of this journey. We're just getting started.

The problems we see in the market

The greatest brands in the world still launch products that no one wants. Millions of dollars get burnt, with huge marketing pushes and rooms full of crossed fingers, only for these products to fail as soon as they hit the market.

Too often, researchers feel like they’re at the back of the bus, with projects thrown at them to validate decisions that are never going to change, shouting directions that no one hears.

The back of the bus is no place for critical research. Let’s move researchers up front where they belong.

Product and research teams face more pressure with fewer resources, yet the need to get products right the first time is greater than ever. The problem isn’t that teams don’t care about insights—it’s that they often lack the capacity to deliver impactful research fast enough.

More tools? That’s not the answer. The answer lies in bridging the gap between ambition and execution: making research a strategic asset that helps navigate product decisions with confidence.

The market is full of fragmented DIY tools that promise ROI, improved insights, and efficiency gains but often fall short. Companies hope these tools will improve efficiencies and save time, but they end up under-utilised or lack the scalability to deliver impactful research.

What companies need isn't just another tool—they need an end-to-end solution that provides deep, actionable insights to drive real product progress and enable informed decision-making at speed.

The Askable solution: we believe there’s a better way

With Askable, we’re shifting how products are built—from guesswork and opinions, to data and insights. Askable isn’t just another research tool—it transforms how insights drive product development.

Picture this: research teams as navigators, armed with a map of actionable insights, sitting up front to guide the journey. Deep user insights fuel product innovation, human-led testing steers meaningful improvements, and with Askable, researchers have the influence to chart the right course, ensuring every turn leads to success.

With Askable, research isn’t slowing things down—it’s fuelling growth and ensuring every move is the right one.

Researchers belong up front, charting the course to innovation with insights that matter. Askable makes that happen.

How do we make it happen?

We believe building an influential insights and UXR team that can de-risk product launches starts with three core pillars: research capacity, perfect participants, and the ultimate research platform.

Charting a path forward

For full transparency, we raised this money almost 12 months ago. Why didn’t we shout it to the world immediately?

Honestly, we’ve just been way too busy building something great and looking after our ridiculously good customers. And our plans for world domination required that we commence world domination prior to sharing our plans.

But in short, this funding empowers us to take Askable to the next level by:

  • Continue building the ultimate research platform: We are making substantial investments to enhance our platform with cutting-edge AI tools and innovative new features, transforming research into an even more seamless process.
  • Expanding our presence: We’re significantly growing our footprint in the US and UK to bring on-demand research to more brands globally, empowering them with the capacity to generate insights at scale.
  • Building our research community: Community has been a core part of Askable since day one. We’ve supported the community more than any other platform—running meetups, funding workshops, sponsoring conferences, and more. This isn't changing, ever. In fact, we are expanding with new programs to support the larger UX and product ecosystem worldwide. We’re also continuing to grow our network of Certified Askable Researchers to meet the increasing demand for fast, flexible research.

Conclusion

If you have read it this far, thank you and I’m sure you get it! Let me end with this.

“Know thy user”, said Shakespeare (I think). Whoever said it, it’s truer than ever. Brands that want to win need deep, actionable insights directly from their users, and they need them fast. Getting this wrong is the hallmark of failure.

To our clients, community, and everyone who’s been part of this journey—thank you for helping us make curiosity a driving force for impact.

Here’s to a future where every question gets an answer—if you just ask.
